St. Louis Blues goaltender Jake Allen is looking for a second mask, and he wanted fans to design the new mask he should wear. There were over 400 submissions, but only three remain. Now is your chance to choose Allen's mask.
Earlier this month,
Jake Allen and the St. Louis Blues asked fans to submit their designs for the goaltenders second mask. The fans answered in droves. Now, after sifting through over 400 submissions, the St. Louis Blues goaltender has whittled the voting is down to three finalists. You can see all three potential masks below:
Two of the three prominently feature a snake, a fitting homage to Allen’s nickname “Jake the Snake”. Two of the masks, including the third option that has a keyboard across the bottom, are a nice nod to the city’s blues background and the franchise’s moniker. Each mask also makes sure to include the undeniable landmark of St. Louis, the Gateway Arch. Voting for the mask will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 22, and the winner will be provided with four tickets right along the glass for an upcoming Blues game, a meet-and-greet and autographed stick from Allen, and, obviously, have their design painted on Allen’s mask by Head Strong Grafx.
