Why Boston won: New York has had trouble generating offense in the playoffs – especially on the power play and Boston has the depth and talent to trump them in that category too.

The refreshed Red Wings evened their series against the Blackhawks while the Kings' Jonathan Quick could only keep the Sharks at bay for so long.

Not many would have guessed the Islanders would be a playoff team, but here they are in the final week of the season.
