First Period

1. Detroit, Rafalski 4 (Zetterberg, Datsyuk) 5:03 (pp)

With Detroit on the power play, Datsyuk collects the puck along the boards and passes it to Zetterberg, who feeds Rafalski at the top of the circle. Rafalski fires a wrist shot past a screened Fleury.

Penalties - Sydor Pgh (interference) 4:17, Drake Det (charging) 8:28, Draper Det (roughing) 8:55, Hall Pgh (high-sticking) 11:15.

Second Period

2. Detroit, Filppula 5 (Samuelsson, Kronwall) 8:07

After Samuelsson's low wrist shot is stopped by Fleury, Filppula collects the rebound and slides a backhander in between the goaltender's legs.

3. Pittsburgh, Malkin 10 (Crosby, Hossa) 15:26 (pp)

With Pittsburgh on the power play, Hossa passes to Crosby along the boards. Crosby sends a cross-ice feed to Malkin, who blasts a slap shot that beats Osgood between the legs.

Penalties - Lilja Det (slashing) 2:06, Datsyuk Det (interference) 14:22, Roberts Pgh (high-sticking) 16:13, Franzen Det, Orpik Pgh (roughing) 17:58.

Third Period

4. Detroit, Zetterberg 13 (Datsyuk, Kronwall) 7:36

Zetterberg races into the offensive zone and fires a wrist shot, which is stopped by Fleury. The puck trickles into the crease and Fleury knocks it in when he tries to lie down on top of it.

5. Pittsburgh, Hossa 12 (Gonchar, Malkin) 18:33 (pp)

With Pittsburgh on the power play and Fleury on the bench, Malkin passes to Gonchar along the blue line and he fires a shot into traffic that Hossa tips past Osgood's outstretched glove.

Penalty - Hudler Det (hooking) 18:13.
