Sabres players did a 'dramatic reading' of the holiday song, which is apt, because they sure aren't singing.
With Christmas three days away, it's that time of year when hockey teams around the world embarrass themselves a little bit in the name of spreading Christmas cheer.
Now the Buffalo Sabres have gotten into the Christmas spirit with their rendition of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You. You notice the Sabres have dubbed it a 'dramatic reading,' which is good, because they sure aren't singing.

Ryan O'Reilly seems most comfortable, or at least most familiar with the song, but the highlight has to be what appears to be a budding bromance between Jack Eichel and Zach Bogosian. Nicolas Deslauriers gets some extra credit for actually attempting to sing.
It's a solid holiday video by the Sabres, but the award for best rendition of All I Want For Christmas Is You this season still belongs to the Calgary Hitmen.
