TORONTO (Ticker) -- Tomas Vokoun is losing his hold on the
Florida Panthers' starting goaltender spot.

Vokoun will try to regain his No. 1 status when the Panthers
square off against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old Vokoun, who has a 3-1-2 career record against
the Maple Leafs, has been relinquishing a lot of starts to Chris
Anderson this season.

The Czech is 8-12-1 with a 2.83 goals-against average and .916
save percentage on the campaign, while Anderson has posted a
9-4-5 record with a 2.35 GAA and .933 save percentage.

Since posting back-to-back shutouts on December 21 and 23,
Vokoun has been pulled in two of his last three starts - losing
all three contests.

The Maple Leafs are seeking their third win in four games after
defeating the Ottawa Senators, 3-1, on Saturday.

Jason Blake scored a goal and setup another in that one for
Toronto, which has won seven of its previous 12 contests.
