Andrei Vasilevskiy will start in place of the injured Ben Bishop tonight.

CHICAGO – If the Tampa Bay Lightning is going to take a 3-1 stranglehold in the Stanley Cup final, it will have to do it without No. 1 goalie Ben Bishop.

Bishop did not come out for the warm-up for Game 4, meaning 20-year-old rookie Andrei Vasilevskiy will get the start for the Lightning. Vasilevskiy came in relief of Bishop in Game 1 of the series when Bishop left the game twice because of an injury.

Vasilevskiy has yet to start in this post-season, but has appeared three times in relief. He has a 1-0-0 record in the playoffs, earning his victory in Game 2 by virtue of the fact he was in the Lightning net when the game-winning goal was scored, with a 4.44 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.

The backup for the game is Kristers Gudlevskis, whom Canadian hockey fans will remember as the man who turned in the performance of his life at the Sochi Olympics when Canada defeated Latvia 1-0.
