The Flyers were without captain Peter Forsberg, who was traded to the Nashville Predators before the game for right-winger Scottie Upshall, defenceman Ryan Parent, and two draft picks.
Jeff O'Neill, Niki Antropov, and Carlo Colaiacovo also scored for the Maple Leafs, who had won seven of eight before their losing streak.
Simon Gagne and Mike Knuble scored for the Flyers, who had won two in a row after a franchise-record 13 straight home losses.
The Maple Leafs scored three goals in the first and chased Philadelphia goaltender Michael Leighton, who had won his previous two starts.
Toronto goaltender Andrew Raycroft stopped 34 shots to pick up his 26th win.
