Ottawa (12-17-5) at Edmonton (17-14-3), 10:00 p.m. EST

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The ongoing struggles of the
Ottawa Senators can be traced to their ineffectiveness on the
road.

Looking for their first victory away from home in two months,
the Senators visit the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday.

The Senators, who will be on the road until mid-January while
the World Junior Championship is played in Ottawa, are coming
off a 3-0 setback against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday, the
third contest in their current eight-game road trip.

They have gone 0-10-2 on the road since a 2-1 victory at Florida
on October 30. Their three victories and eight points away from
the ScotiaBank Place are the fewest in the NHL.

Ottawa is currently trudging through its worst road losing
streak since dropping an league-record 38 straight in its
inaugural 1992-93 campaign, when the team went 10-70-4.

The club also ranks last in the NHL in total goals scored with
80.

Edmonton seeks its fourth straight triumph after toppling the
Nashville Predators, 5-2, on Saturday. The Oilers have seven
wins in December, their best month this season.
