WINNIPEG - Moose goalie Cory Schneider recorded his 10th consecutive win Thursday as Manitoba defeated the San Antonio Rampage 5-2 in the AHL.

Schneider, who made 22 saves, broke a franchise record for consecutive wins, while Mark Cullen netted a hat trick to lead Manitoba's offence. Rampage opened the scoring when winger Brett MacLean snuck the puck between Schneider's glove to put the Rampage ahead at 48 seconds in.

The Moose tied things up on the power play netting their first shot of the night, courtesy of Cullen.

At 10:08 Jason Jaffray broke into the visitors' zone and went top shelf on San Antonio goalie Al Montoya to earn his 10th of the season and give the Moose a 2-1 lead.

The Moose went 2-for-2 on the power play as Cullen netted his second of the night to put the Moose on top, 3-1 with less than a minute left in the first.

Manitoba's fourth goal of the game came in the second when Jason Krog snapped the puck between Montoya's legs to put his squad up 4-1.

With a crowd in front of Schneider's net, Derek Nesbitt netted the Rampage's second goal, tightening the gap 4-2 at 18:31 of the third.

The Rampage opted to pull Montoya in the final minutes of the third, but the extra attacker wouldn't make a difference and Cullen earned his third of the night on an empty net to secure a 5-2 victory for the Moose.

Montoya made 19 saves.
