Crosby recorded his 200th career point with a goal in the Penguins' game versus the Carolina Hurricanes. He fought off Josef Vasicek behind the net to control the puck, then beat goalie Cam Ward with a wraparound to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead.

Crosby is the NHL's scoring leader with 98 points.

Crosby achieved the milestone at the age of 19 years 207 days, breaking the mark set by Wayne Gretzky in the 1980-81 season.

Gretzky recorded his 200th point at the age of 19 years 347 days.
