P.K. Subban went undercover as Karl, a security guard, in full costume in makeup just so he could surprise some well deserving children for the holidays. After revealing his true identity, he went for a skate with several of his biggest fans.

If P.K. Subban isn’t already one of your favorite players in the league, he may just be after you watch this video.

As part of a special holiday surprise for a select group of kids, Subban disguised himself as an elderly security guard and set up an entire day’s worth of activities for he and the children. From gifts to being able to skate alongside one of their hockey heroes, it’s just the kind of thing you would have expected out of one of the Montreal Canadiens most recognizable faces.

If there’s one part of the video that’s better than others – and it’s really hard to pick a best moment – it may just be that Subban doesn’t let up on the kids when he plays them. But, hey, what’s the point of skating with one of your idols if he’s not going to at least show you what he can do?

The whole video, from plan to execution, is a fantastic reminder of how important it is for players to give back to their communities. The look on the faces of each of the kids is more than worth the five minutes of viewing time.
