OTTAWA - Senators forward Jason Spezza will likely be in the lineup for Ottawa's road game against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night.

The star forward left Sunday's 3-1 loss to the New York Islanders following the first period after taking an open-ice hit from defenceman Freddy Meyer.

On Monday, Ottawa head coach John Paddock said that Spezza is 'probable' for the game against the Capitals.

That's good news for the Senators, who lost another all-star forward, Dany Heatley, for up to six weeks when he dislocated his right shoulder in a game last Saturday.

Spezza has 15 goals and 38 assists for 53 points in 38 games this season.
