How did you like playing for Finland this year compared to previous years?
- Ryan Paju, Kanata, Ont.

Every time it's an honor, but last year was a little bit special because it was the Olympics, and we won a silver medal.

What is your favorite sport besides hockey?
- Josh Painter, Sycamore, Ill.

Probably soccer. Right now one of my hobbies is collecting soccer jerseys.

How did you transform from a nine-goal scorer to a 36-goal scorer in one year (2001-02 to 02-03)?
- Chris Brnjas, asks Fergus, Ont.

When you're young, it takes some time to get used to the league. I was 23, and wasn't getting a lot of ice time. When Mike Keenan was coaching, he pushed me hard, and that helped.

When the team is struggling, what do you do as captain to calm the locker room and inject life into them?
- Suhayb Gaid, Richmond, B.C.

A lot of positives. All good leaders in hockey lead by example, and I try to work hard. Speeches and speeches, and staying positive.

Who do you think is the best Finnish player of all-time?
- Alan Fruitman, Toronto

Jari Kurri.

How do you decide what to do on a shootout? Does it depend on the goalie?
- Josh Landine, Fredericton, N.B.

Yes, it depends on the goalie, but I only have one move, so it's pretty simple.
