Milan Lucic is no stranger to controversy. In fact, the two are fairly familiar with one another at this point. And the Boston Bruins left winger was back in hot water Thursday after appearing to make a lewd gesture and taunt Canadiens fans with a mimed raising of the Stanley Cup.

Lucic has been suspended by the NHL twice, both for one game apiece, but if the league decides there's sufficient evidence he broke the boundaries of good taste, he could be looking at a longer suspension. When he was a member of the New York Islanders in 2010, defenseman James Wisniewski received a two-game suspension for making a similarly untoward hand gesture toward Rangers pest Sean Avery during a game.
