NEW YORK - Colorado right-winger Milan Hejduk, Detroit goaltender Dominik Hasek and Los Angeles centre Anze Kopitar are the NHL's three stars of the week.

Hejduk led all NHL scorers with nine points (5-4) in four games through Sunday, extending his points streak to seven games. The six points (3-3) that the 31-year-old Czech picked up in a 9-5 win over St. Louis on Sunday was the highest single-game point total in the league this season and was the most by an Avalanche player since Peter Forsberg got six in a game against Nashville on Jan. 1, 2003.

Hasek, returning to the Detroit crease after missing four games with a sore hip, won three consecutive starts and posted a 1.00 goals-against average and .942 save percentage. The 42-year-old Czech also had a shutout, the 77th of his career, to move past Tony Esposito and Ed Belfour into sole possession of eighth place on the all-time list.

Kopitar, 20, a second-year NHLer from Slovenia, earned eight points (2-6) in four games, extending his point streak to six contests.
