WINNIPEG - Mike Keane is coming back for more.

The 42-year-old signed a one-year AHL deal with Manitoba on Wednesday, deciding to return for a fifth season with the Moose and a 22nd in pro hockey.

Keane, a three-time Stanley Cup winner, has played more than 1,500 games as a pro.

The Moose captain finished with 28 points (8-20) last season - his highest total since 1999-00 with the Dallas Stars. He was also named the team's hardest-working player.

Keane has appeared in 290 games for the Moose over the past four seasons, scoring 27 goals and 83 points.

His NHL career spanned 17 seasons and 1,230 games with Montreal, Colorado, New York Rangers, Dallas, St. Louis and Vancouver.
