HARTFORD, Conn. - Two goals with two minutes left to play pushed the Manitoba Moose over the Hartford Wolf Pack 4-2 on Wednesday night in the AHL.

Tied 2-2, the Moose capitalized on a five-minute major with two power-plays goals. Michael Grabner scored at 18:24 and Guillaume Desbiens added some insurance with a power-play marker at 19:05.

Grabner also scored in the second period and Nolan Baumgartner earned a single for Manitoba. Jason Krog recorded three assists.

The Moose currently sit in first place in both the North Division and Western Conference and regained top spot in the AHL with 76 points.

Tommy Pyatt scored twice for the Wolf Pack, who have received plenty of media attention as of late with the recent roster addition of Sean Avery.

Avery practised with the Wolf Pack on Tuesday morning after being assigned by the Dallas Stars. However, Avery was not in the lineup on Wednesday.
