Kozlov, Khabibulin and Hossa named NHL's three stars of week

Kozlov was named first star after leading all scorers with nine points, including seven goals, in four games. He scored four goals in a 7-4 win over the New York Rangers on Sunday.

The six-foot-five Russian became the fifth player in NHL history to havee six goals in road games on consecutive days. The others were St. Louis centre Red Berenson, who scored all six in one game at Philadelphia in 1968, Edmonton's Wayne Gretzky (1984), Toronto's Darryl Sittler (1980) and Chicago's Stan Mikita (1965).

Khabibulin had a .925 save percentage during Blackhawks victories over Dallas, St. Louis and Nashville under new head coach Denis Savard.

Hossa was second among all scorers for the week with eight points - four goals and four assists - after consecutive four-point games. Heading into play Monday, Hossa was second in league scoring with 39 points - 20 goals and 19 assists - in 28 games.
