ROSEMONT, Ill. - J.T. Wyman scored two goals as the Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Chicago Wolves 4-1 in American Hockey League action Saturday.

Dustin Boyd and Kyle Klubertanz also scored for Hamilton (21-12-5), which leads the North Division.

Nigel Dawes replied for Chicago (21-17-3).

“They just dominated us,”said Wolves head coach Don Lever.“We had gone into their building and beaten them twice and they were a desperate hockey team. They were very good tonight.”

The game drew 15,654 fans, the biggest AHL crowd of the season.

Hamilton opened the scoring, 13:18 into the first period when Boyd stole the puck at the blue-line and took off on a breakaway before sending a shot past Wolves goaltender Peter Mannino.

Wyman put the Bulldogs up 2-0 41 seconds into the second period. The right-wing took a pass from Andrew Conboy, walked into the Wolves zone and fired a shot past Mannino from high in the right face-off circle.

Wyman put Hamilton up 3-0 at 9:25 of the second period. Mannino stopped Wyman’s initial deflection of defenceman Brendon Nash’s shot. The rebound bounced back to Wyman, who slid the puck between Mannino’s legs.

The Bulldogs made the score 4-0 at 5:59 of the third period when Klubertanz’s shot from the point evaded traffic and beat Mannino.

Dawes ended Curtis Sanford's shutout bid at 8:47 of the third period. Defenceman Mark Matheson held the puck behind the net and slipped it out to Dawes, who streaked into the crease for a quick tap past the Hamilton goaltender.

Sanford made 15 saves for Hamilton.

Mannino stopped 32 shots for Chicago.
