Home-ice advantage has been crucial in the Western Conference, while road warriors have had the edge so far over in the Eastern Conference

Jonathan Toews' overtime winner Friday night was just the first road win for either team in the Blues-Blackhawks series and only the second among all four Western Conference series.

In Round 1, home teams are now 15-2. The lone road wins both came in extra time: Patrick Marleau's overtime goal in Game 3 to give the Sharks a 4-3 win over the Kings in Los Angeles, and then Toews' OT winner in Game 5 to lift the Blackhawks past the Blues 3-2 in St. Louis.

Over in the Eastern Conference, road teams have the edge so far, with a 9-7.
