NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- A high-octane offense has the
Philadelphia Flyers on a roll.

Seeking their seventh win in eight tries, the Flyers visit the
New Jersey Devils on Sunday in a battle of Atlantic Division
foes.

The Flyers' 114 goals this season rank second in the Eastern
Conference, behind Boston's 118.

They received another eye-opening effort on the offensive end on
Saturday, when Scott Hartnell recorded his fifth career hat
trick and set up another goal in a 7-1 win over the Washington
Capitals.

Jeff Carter had two goals and an assist and Joffrey Lupul had a
tally and two assists for the Flyers, who improved to 14-2-3 in
their last 19 games. Simon Gagne also scored.

Antero Niittymaki, who has won six of his past seven starts,
made 47 saves - including 25 in the first period.

Philadelphia is unbeaten in regulation in its past 11 home games
(9-0-2), but is 7-4-3 overall on the road this season. Its lone
regulation loss in December came on Thursday, a 5-2 setback in
Montreal.

New Jersey is coming off a 5-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators,
and has won two in a row and 11 of their last 14.

The Devils have scored 34 goals in their last five wins in
regulation and have gotten a tremendous boost from Zach Parise,
who had four assists against Ottawa. He also has 36 points in
his last 26 games.
