Filion, on the power play, and Patrick Wellar scored in the first period for the Aces (9-7-0-0). Julian Talbot, with two, Filion and Gino Guyer all scored before 13:46 had elapsed in the the second frame.
Kiel McLeod scored a power-play goal midway through the third period for Victoria (7-8-0-1), which dropped three points behind the Aces for third place in the West Division.
Alaska goalie Chris Beckford-Tseu made 22 saves, while Julien Ellis allowed all six goals on 19 shots over the first two periods. Bryan Bridges made nine saves in the 20 minutes for the Kings.
The Aces scored once on six power-play chances and Victoria converted one of their nine opportunities.
The Salmon Kings host the Aces again on Friday and Saturday.
