Wade Redden has two goals and eight points in 14 games for the Sens this season.
What has been your favorite moment playing for the Sens so far?
- Aden Rongve, Saskatoon, Sask.
“I would have to say going to the finals last year. Just the way we came together as a team. The playoffs last season was a great feeling. We really learned a lot about each other.”
How do you steal the puck from a guy when he has his back toward you?
- Ben Fisher, Montreal
"You usually try to sneak up, you know he has his momentum going one way, but then you can sneak your stick between his legs and kind of poke the puck up."
Do you think the NHL will ever return some franchises to Canadian cities?
- Alex Read, St. John’s, Nfld.
"It sure doesn't look like that’s the clear intention, but I hope so. There's no place like playing in Canada. I've been playing my whole career here so I haven't seen the other side of it, but the excitement and the attention that it gets makes it a lot of fun to play here."
What should I do when a player takes a hack at my goalie's glove after the puck is covered?
- Ross Sherman, West Chester, Pa.
"Usually you go in and push him or cross-check him; usually a scrap ensues. It’s one of those things that doesn't get tolerated out there too often, but hopefully the refs notice it, too, and you can kill it on the power play. As a defenseman you have to clear the front of the net, that's the rule of thumb."
Who is the most competitive player you’ve ever faced in the NHL?
- Matthew Curley, Luskville, Que.
"There are certain players that are really hard to play against, but Mats Sundin is one of the premiere guys we see a lot in this battle of Ontario."
Do you remember your first NHL goal?
Marc Gagnon, Gatineau, Que.
"It was exactly 11 years ago. It was my first game against Montreal, I had a great pass from 'Alfie' (Daniel Alfredsson) and I was in the slot. I one-timed it home. The whole day was kind of surreal, you know playing in the NHL for the first time. It's kind of fun here, we have Nick Foligno playing his first game, it kind of takes you back to those days when you were that young. It's a great feeling."
