Jackson Theune from Sherwood Park, Alta., asks You grew up in Western Canada. Does where you grow up affect your style of play?
I think the Western League is more of a rough-tough style of play; you have to be able to take care of yourself. The travel is not easy; you play in Prince Albert one day then you’re down in Tri-City; 24-hour bus rides. You know catching up with school and all that kind of stuff, it really makes you work hard at everything you do.

Matthew Skaik from Campbell River, B.C., asks What was your biggest NHL fight?

I don’t know, my most rewarding would be, I guess, recently against Sean Avery. I popped him pretty good and then he went down; it’s kind of the way he plays, he is kind of the ultimate agitator I think and to get him pretty good was a good feeling.

Ryan Mailman from Liscomb, N.S., asks Your hair is amazing, are you ever going to cut it?

Um, well, I got it not shaved, but trimmed down pretty close, my first training camp (in Philadelphia) two and a half years ago and then about three weeks ago I got just about a half an inch taken off. So I kind of had to just trim it up. It was getting a little too long, but I didn’t get too much taken off.
