It's a light schedule in the NHL tonight as it is on most Mondays - at least until the NFL season ends - but there is a doozy out west with the Blues and Kings matching up. That's a hard one to call, so it's not surprise that our expert pickers (*minus one) all have the Rangers over the Jets.

Along with those picks, here is today's TV schedule and starting goalies.

Winnipeg @ NY Rangers 7:00 PM ET
TV: TSN-JETS, MSG
Probable Starting Goalies: Ondrej Pavelec vs. Cam Talbot

New Jersey @ Montreal 7:30 PM ET
TV: RDS, MSG PLUS, TSN-HABS
Probable Starting Goalies: Martin Brodeur vs. Carey Price

Philadelphia @ Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
TV: NBCSN, CSN-PH
Probable Starting Goalies: Ray Emery vs. Josh Harding

St. Louis @ Los Angeles 10:30 PM ET
TV: NHLN-CA, FS-MW, FS-W
Probable Starting Goalies: Jaroslav Halak vs. Ben Scrivens

The Hockey News Best Bets (with season record):

Ken Campbell, Senior Writer (8-6): *After my muck-up yesterday, no pick from Ken today in order to get things back on even footing
Ryan Kennedy, Associate Senior Writer (6-7): Rangers over Winnipeg
Adam Proteau, Writer/Columnist (8-5): Rangers over Winnipeg
Rory Boylen, THN.com Post-To-Post Blog Editor (7-6): Rangers over Winnipeg

Edward Fraser, The Hockey News’ Managing Editor, joined THN in 2005 after covering the Jr. B Stratford Cullitons. The London, Ont., native graduated from the University of Western Ontario – where he did campus radio color commentary for both men’s and women’s hockey – with a Master’s in Journalism. He really, really hates the loser point.
