The Calgary Flames sniper appeared to have a wide-open cage in overtime, but Ottawa's sterling netminder swooped across to make the glove save. Check out Anderson's leather on what became a crucial stop.

At times last night, it appeared as though neither the Senators or Flames wanted to win the game. It was a back-and-forth affair with late lead changes and naturally that meant overtime. One player who would not be denied in the end was Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson. Check out the magic trick he pulls on Johnny Gaudreau as the Calgary sniper lay in wait during the extra frame:

Absolute robbery. It was also a key stop, because Anderson's work enabled his team to move on to the shootout, where Kyle Turris and Mika Zibanejad both tallied for the Sens. Anderson stopped two of three Calgary shooters to seal the victory for the home side.

The result was particularly damaging for the Flames, who now sit 2-7-1 overall. Not only that, but goaltender Jonas Hiller was injured in the third period in a collision with Ottawa's Bobby Ryan, compelling the netminder to leave the game. Joni Ortio came in and made five stops on five attempts. No word on the seriousness of Hiller's lower-body injury just yet.
