NEW YORK, N.Y. - Carolina Hurricanes left-winger Jussi Jokinen was named NHL first star of the week Monday after recording seven points last week.
Jokinen had four goals and three assists over three games.
Boston Bruins centre Patrice Bergeron was named second star and Phoenix Coyotes goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov took the third star.
Bergeron had seven points (4-3) in four games while Bryzgalov posted a 3-0-0 record with a 2.00 goals-against average and .938 save percentage.
