The best goaltender in the world put on another clinic for Montreal Thursday night, blanking New York in style. He also got revenge on an old enemy in the process.

New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist played really, really well against the Montreal Canadiens last night. He just wasn't Carey Price – hence, the Habs are now off to their best start in franchise history thanks to a 3-0 blanking of the Blueshirts.

Once again, Price was inhuman in net, turning aside 25 shots for the victory. Here's one of his gems on Rangers sniper Rick Nash:

But as good as his saves were, Price's finest moment may have come from his shoulder, not his glove. The big netminder exacted a measure of revenge on Rangers left winger Chris Kreider in the third period when the powerful speedster looped around the Montreal net:

Kreider, of course, had taken out Price during the 2014 playoffs and clearly the netminder was still holding a grudge. Check out Price going all Muhammad Ali and standing over the talented New Yorker after he spilled him.

A Carey Price with swagger like that is bad news for the rest of the NHL. Dude is rocking a 4-0-0 record with a .957 save percentage and 1.25 goals-against average. The Habs had never started a season with five straight wins until now.
