The Montreal Canadiens will be without star goaltender Carey Price for at least a week due to a lower-body injury, the team announced Sunday.

Dustin Tokarski has been recalled from the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps to back up Mike Condon while Price is out of the lineup.

Condon is scheduled to start Sunday when the Canadiens host the Winnipeg Jets.

The Canadiens then host the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday, the New York Islanders on Thursday and the Boston Bruins on Saturday to close out the week.

Coach Michel Therrien told reporters Price will miss all four home games. He added Price’s injury was sustained in Thursday’s 4-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

Price won the Hart, Vezina and Ted Lindsay Trophies and The Hockey News’ Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Patrick Roy Awards in 2014-15 after leading the NHL in wins (44), goals-against average (1.96) and save percentage (.933).

The 2005 fifth overall pick has been just as good so far this season. Price has won seven of his nine starts, while boasting a 2.01 GAA. He’s allowed 18 goals on 283 shots (.936 save percentage).
