New Jersey (30-15-3) at Boston (35-8-5), 7:00 p.m. EST

BOSTON (Ticker) -- After beating a fellow Eastern Conference
powerhouse, the Boston Bruins seek to continue their string of
victories over such foes.

Boston aims for its seventh win in nine games when it hosts the
torrid New Jersey Devils on Thursday.

David Krejci scored a power-play goal at 1:55 of overtime,
lifting the Bruins to a 3-2 triumph over the Washington Capitals
on Tuesday.

Boston - which welcomed back forwards Patrice Bergeron and Milan
Lucic and defenseman Andrew Ference from injury - also received
goals from All-Star Marc Savard and Shawn Thornton in defeating
Washington for the first time in three tries this season.

The Bruins extended their lead over the Capitals atop the
Eastern Conference to 11 points, and have a chance to build on
their 12-point advantage over the Devils.

New Jersey has won six consecutive contests, largely due to a
recent 5-1-0 stretch during a season-high six-game road trip.

The Devils, who are coming off a 4-1 victory over the lowly
Ottawa Senators on Tuesday, have surrendered nine goals in their
last six.

Goaltender Scott Clemmensen improved to 20-9-1 and has helped
anchor New Jersey's defensive unit, which has given up one goal
in four of its last five contests.

The 31-year-old Clemmensen had three wins with New Jersey in
2003-04 and again in 2005-06. He had an overall NHL record of
8-7-4 in 28 games prior to this season.
