Boston (39-10-8) at Carolina (28-24-5), 7:00 p.m. EST

RALEIGH, North Carolina (Ticker) -- After cruising for the past
several months, the Boston Bruins are suddenly having trouble
winning games.

Boston hopes to snap a season-high four-game losing streak when
it visits the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.

The Bruins, who are 0-2-2 during the skid, lost the second game
of their five-game road trip in a shootout on Saturday, 3-2, at
the Nashville Predators.

Captain Zdeno Chara knotted the score at 2-2 with 1:16 left and
rookie Blake Wheeler also scored for the Bruins, who still lead
the league in points with 86.

Boston's power play continues to struggle as the Bruins went
0-for-4 with the man advantage in the loss. Boston is 2-for-36
on the power play in its last nine games.

Cam Ward made 36 saves as the Hurricanes blanked the Buffalo
Sabres, 3-0, on Sunday.

Eric Staal, Chad LaRose and Sergei Samsonov all scored for
Carolina, which has lost all three meetings with Boston this
season by a combined score of 13-5.
