TORONTO (Ticker) -- If there was any rust, Martin Brodeur shook
it off pretty quickly.

The future Hall of Famer will continue his impressive return
Tuesday, when the New Jersey Devils host the Toronto Maple
Leafs.

Following a 50-game absence due to elbow surgery, Brodeur is
3-0-0 with two shutouts. The 36-year-old posted his 100th career
shutout with Sunday's 3-0 triumph over the rival Philadelphia
Flyers.

Brodeur became just the second goaltender in NHL history to
reach the milestone, needing three more to tie Terry Sawchuk for
the all-time shutout mark. Brodeur, who has recorded 547
victories, is also just four wins shy of Patrick Roy's career
record.

The Devils, who have won 16 of their last 20 contests, have
given Brodeur plenty of offensive support since his return. New
Jersey has netted 14 goals in its previous three games.

The Maple Leafs are currently on a four-game winning streak.
Defenseman Pavel Kubina tied the score late in the third period
and netted the winner 33 seconds into overtime as Toronto posted
a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

Jamal Mayers also scored and rookie Tim Stapleton netted his
first career goal for the Maple Leafs, who played in their sixth
straight overtime contest.
