First Hockey Memory: “I remember playing for the Frontier Flyers in tiny mites and finishing up school at 3:30 and being on the ice at 4:00. Just racing to try to be the first one on the ice."
Leisure Activities/Interests: “I like to travel in the off-season. I'm big on reading books. Do a little bit of golfing and tennis."
Nicknames: “I've had a lot of them. The latest one is Marmaduke. Seabiscuit. Napoleon. Brayds. Coby. Burn. There's a long list. For some reason I'm easy to nickname. Billy Rosewood (from Beverly Hills Cop). I've had 'em all."

Pre-game Feeling: “Just thinking about staying relaxed and kind of what I want to do that night. And just keep it simple in the beginning of the game.”
Favorite Meal: “I'm a big fan of sausage and pierogies and sauerkraut."
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: “Strawberries with cherries in it."
Greatest Sports Moment: “Most memorable – probably winning the world juniors in North Dakota.”
Most Painful Moment: “Losing world juniors in Helsinki.”
Closest Hockey Friend(s): “I'm pretty close with some of the guys I played junior with, my roommate one year with the Portland Winterhawks, Cody McLeod. And I'm pretty close with a couple guys here.”
Funniest Player Encountered: “Probably this guy behind me – Scott Hartnell. He's quite the character (smiles). Good Saskatchewan guy, he's got the sense of humor."
Toughest Competitors: “That's a tough one. There’s a lot of guys out there that are fierce competitors. It's a pretty tough league."
Favorite Players To Watch: “Growing up I liked to watch guys like Paul Coffey, Ray Bourque. Now when I watch hockey I like watching guys like Nick Lidstrom and Scott Niedermayer."
Funny Hockey Memory: “I think it was my first game in the AHL. We were in San Antonio playing the Rampage and Travis Roche – something happened on the ice – he came back to the bench. He ended up throwing his stick on the bench and it ended up ricocheting off the glass and hitting (assistant coach) Marty Howe right in the head and cutting him wide open with stitches. He was bleeding all over the place. It was pretty funny. I was playing for Chicago Wolves at the time. That was pretty comical. Like, welcome to this league, you know?"
Last Vacation: “I went down to Disney World (Orlando, Fla.).”
Most Memorable Goal: “Probably my first goal in the NHL. It was against the Penguins (March 4, 2007)."
Favorite Non-Hockey Sport To Watch: “Summertime I like watching baseball. It's relaxing; eats up a lot of time. It's fun to watch, though, I have a lot of passion for baseball, I played a little when I was growing up and it was pretty exciting when the Phillies won here, too. That was pretty remarkable to be a part of.”
Personality Qualities Most Admired: “I think people that are honest, kind and friendly.”
