2008/11/20: Updating a previous injury situation, New York Islanders rookie winger Kyle Okposo is now expected to miss about one week due to an arm injury. The 20-year-old freshman has five points in 18 games this year.

Jere Lehtinen, RW, Dallas Stars
2008/11/20: Dallas Stars veteran winger Jere Lehtinen is back on the shelf and is expected to miss the next 7-10 days because of an upper body injury. The 35-year-old Finn has only appeared in three regular-season games this season because of his injury woes.

Mike Green, D, Washington Capitals
2008/11/20: After scoring a goal and adding an assist in the first period, Capitals defenseman Mike Green left the game with an undisclosed injury, following a hit by Ducks defenseman Chris Pronger.

Marco Sturm, LW, Boston Bruins
2008/11/19: Veteran winger Marco Sturm sat out Boston's victory Wednesday due to an upper body injury. He had played in each of the Bruins' 18 games this year.

Andrew Ference, D, Boston Bruins
2008/11/19: Nearly a week after fracturing his right tibia, Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference has been placed on injured reserve. After successful surgery this week, he's still expected to be out up to two months.

Rostislav Klesla, D, Columbus Blue Jackets
2008/11/19: The ankle injury that forced defenseman Rostislav Klesla out of the Blue Jackets' last two games has now put him on injured reserve. He was +2 with four points in 13 games this year on the Columbus blue line.

Chris Neil, RW, Ottawa Senators
2008/11/19: The knee injury to Ottawa Senators rugged winger Chris Neil will require surgery, according to various reports. Neil was injured last Saturday night against the New York Islanders and is expected to miss at least two weeks.
