Are you down and out in your league? It's time to take some chances and here five players worth taking a flyer on.

The Chicago Blackhawks had to unload some players in the summer to stay cap compliant - to the benefit of Atlanta.
The Blackhawks did what they had to do, so this is by no means a slight. In fact, I’m impressed that GM Stan Bowman managed to get under the cap, yet still hang onto Marian Hossa, Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook and Dave Bolland.

The Blue Jackets' Kyle Wilson has followed a similar path to the NHL as the Atlanta second-liner and is showing the same potential.
Back in January of 2009, Rich Peverley caught most poolies by surprise when he suddenly posted 35 points in 39 games. It’s early still, but there’s another player who hasn’t been getting the respect he deserves and may just be Peverley Part 2.

The Los Angeles King is capable of putting up a significant number of points for you...as long as he stays healthy.
It’s hard to believe Justin Williams is only 29 years old. It seems as though he has been a point of fantasy league interest for years and years.
