No Nash trade means the sideshow in Ohio will continue towards the June draft.
After two weeks of rising speculation, the Columbus Blue Jackets opted not to trade right winger Rick Nash at the trade deadline. It wasn't for lack of trying on the part of GM Scott Howson.

After acquiring Jeff Carter, the Kings are rumored to be hungry for more scoring and their captain is being used as bait.
The Los Angeles Kings finally made a move to address their woeful offense, shipping defenseman Jack Johnson and a conditional first round pick to the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night for center Jeff Carter.
