New Jersey may be No. 1 in our weekly rankings of the 30 NHL clubs, but all five Central Division teams are in the top 14.
As of Monday morning, four Central Division teams had identical 6-3-1 records in their past 10 games. The fifth team, St. Louis, really deviated from the pack with a 6-2-2 mark.

Our weekly rankings are shifting and the Hawks are starting to look like potential Western Conference champs.
If there’s a team ready to exploit a seam in the West, it’s the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Detroit Red Wings and San Jose Sharks are clearly the top two clubs in the Western Conference, but neither one of them has looked bulletproof this year.
