THN’s Ken Campbell caught up with Del Zotto in Toronto to discuss returning to North America to rehab his ailing back, his contract status in the face of the lockout and more.
Michael Del Zotto had seven points in nine games with Rapperswil-Jona of the Swiss league before he suffered a back injury that forced him to return to Canada for treatment.

At age 11, Radek Faksa left home to play for HC Ocelari Trinec with the goal of one day stepping on NHL ice. At 17, Faksa joined the OHL's Kitchener Rangers and, after one season there, he was drafted by the Dallas Stars 13th overall. THN's Ryan Kennedy caught up with Faksa, who will soon suit up for the Czechs at the WJC.
From a young age, Radek Faksa has been sacrificing personal comforts to achieve his goal of playing in the NHL. At age 11, he left his hometown of Opava to play for HC Ocelari Trinec and spent the next six years living in a hotel and perfecting his craft with the club.
