GAME 5: TORONTO 2, BOSTON 1 – BRUINS LEAD 3-2
Why Toronto won: The Leafs turned the tables on the Bruins by playing essentially the same opportunistic type of game Boston used to win three of the first four games of this series: Toronto leaned on goalie James Reimer all night, capitalized on a couple of the home team’s mistakes and held on for dear life in a third period that saw the trailing team furiously assault the leading team with a flurry of shots on net.

GAME 4: NY ISLANDERS 6, PITTSBURGH 4 – SERIES TIED 2-2
Why New York won: Speed kills and the Islanders are killing it. For all the Penguins skills, New York is putting them back on their heels by playing a north-south game while not getting caught up chasing the puck around in their own end.
