Since retiring from pro hockey Daniel Tkaczuk has dedicated himself to helping young players develop the skills necessary to succeed. THN has teamed up with Tkaczuk to create a series of skill development videos. On this installment of Pro Tips, Tkaczuk demonstrates a drill that develops a player’s ability to make accurate passes even while turning to avoid defenders.

If Brett Connolly feels he took a step back by spending this year in the American League you would never know it by his attitude. Excluding a short stint with Canada at the WJC, Connolly played the entire 2011-12 season with Tampa Bay, but entering his sophomore campaign the organization thought it was best for him to play in the AHL.
