Historically, the Ontario League has been a breeding ground for not only players, but coaches and executives as well. In my opinion, there is another coach currently plying his trade in the OHL who has a very bright future.

Folks, it's good to be back writing my blog and I certainly hope you enjoyed the mock draft we put together.
After reading some of the comments, I wanted to remind readers the mock draft is designed to show who we think each team will take, as opposed to our overall rankings.

Mock drafts have always been difficult to formulate because a single trade - or thousands of other variables - can make the most accurate projection look flawed, but I’ll take a stab at this year’s draft anyway.

I have released our newest rankings for the 2008 NHL Entry Draft in Ottawa (listed at the bottom of this blog) but I also want to focus on next year’s draft that will be held in Montreal.

In my newest rankings, a few guys have gone up and a few have dropped. In this week’s blog, I’ll give the top 20 with a comment on each, as well as some players that have been shooting up the rankings and a few that are dropping like stones.
