Who says there's no hockey in August? A couple tournaments are in full swing and a few names are shining through.
Oh, how it is on right now. Dead of summer, you say? Pshaw. We’ve got tournaments going on all over the place, so let’s give a little bit of a wrap-up on the early results, even if some were of the exhibition variety.

Congratulations to the Spokane Chiefs, winners of the 2008 Memorial Cup.
The Chiefs went into the tourney as a defensive team going up against three offensive squads and beat them all.
