With major junior playoffs winding down and the under-18 championships behind us, The Hot List looks around the prospect world.
Canada finally dethroned Team USA at the world under-18s, beating the Americans 3-2 for gold and ending a four-year championship run. Connor McDavid was the tourney’s MVP and will likely be back next year (and maybe the year after that) to torture the opposition.

Yale has its first national championship, Quinnipiac proved it was for real and St. Cloud State's Drew LeBlanc took the Hobey Baker Award before signing with the Chicago Blackhawks.
