Recently attending a minor hockey game, this author noticed the lack of wrestling matches improved the overall game.
I recently went to my first minor hockey game – a bantam middle-of-the-pack tilt between the Glanbrook (Ont.) Rangers and the Tillsonburg Tornadoes – in, I realized while there, quite a few years.

Did you think Khabibulin would be Chicago's No. 1 goalie again? If you did, you look like a genius, because the 'Bulin Wall' is back.
What do you think the odds of Nikolai Khabibulin becoming Chicago’s No. 1 goaltender were in September? 4-to-1? 5-to-1?
Remember, Khabibulin had injury problems and was generally unimpressive in recent seasons.

The St. Louis Blues' attempt to draw fans to home games may backfire if they don't take kindly to it.

Back in July, when the THN crew sat down to begin officially prognosticating about the upcoming season – yes, it begins that early around here – the Montreal Canadiens were more or less considered the de facto Eastern Conference champions.
