Ryan Kesler took shots at Cam Fowler’s age, intelligence and status as a “teen idol” in this hilarious episode of “Between Two Zambonis,” which is a spinoff of the popular web series “Between Two Ferns” hosted by Zach Galifianakis.
On Zach Galifianakis’ comedic one-on-one interview show Between Two Ferns he has sat down with the likes of Brad Pitt, President Barack Obama and teen idol Justin Bieber. Not to be outdone, Ryan Kesler found his own teen icon to interview for his new show Between Two Zambonis – teammate Cam Fowler.
In a spinoff of Galifianakis’ popular web series, Kesler played the role of host, poking fun at Fowler’s age, facial hair (or lack thereof) and ability to do some mental math. Watch Kesler play the deadpan host to perfection as Fowler tries desperately to keep it together:

You can almost guarantee that Fowler would have rather done anything than continue singing ‘Mary Had A Little Lamb,’ but good on Kesler for keeping that train going.
Fowler makes sure to get a few shots of his own in, though. He throws some good jabs about Kesler being cranky and having a beard year-round.
But the best barb comes when Kesler fires back about Fowler’s Wikipedia page – which, if you’re wondering, does indeed make reference to comparisons to Dion Phaneuf and Chris Pronger -- telling Fowler those two are, “12 inches taller than (him) and 50 pounds heavier.”
Excellent job, Kesler and company. We sincerely hope this isn’t the last time we see Between Two Zambonis.
