Comedy TV series Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian institution nearly as much as hockey is, and the show doesn't hide its love for Canada's national obsession. So it's only natural a Toronto artist has made a goalie mask honoring its characters.
The comedy series
Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian institution and staple of Canada's cultural landscape, and includes people drinking, swearing and occasionally being violent toward each other. So it's only natural the show has a connection to,
and an affinity for, the game of hockey. And at long last, someone – in this case, artist
David Arrigo – has honored the characters by putting their images on a goalie mask. All three main characters in the highly-raunchy, adult-oriented comedy (
Ricky,
Julian and
Bubbles) are featured prominently on the mask made by the Toronto-based artist, but they're not the only ones to appear on it. Bubbles' cats are on it, as is the infamous evil puppet
Conky.
If an NHLer isn't going to wear this mask soon, perhaps Ricky will put it on when next he plays some extremely NSFW road hockey
on an upcoming season of the series.
