Nashville's Thursday night was painful for reasons beyond being shutout 3-0 by Ilya Bryzgalov in his first start this season. The team lost captain and big-time minute-muncher Shea Weber when the defenseman took a puck to the face in the second period.

Enter the visor debate.
Weber, who has been the center of trade rumors almost everywhere, including Edmonton, since he signed a 14-year offer sheet with the Flyers last year, started the game tied for the league lead in goals among defensemen. It was not immediately clear how serious his injury was.
Even though he missed the rest of the game, Weber still logged 15:53 of ice, more than eight Predators. So, ya, he plays a lot.
UPDATE: Weber is listed as day-to-day.
