In case you haven’t already heard…the Canadiens knocked the Bruins out of the playoffs Wednesday night with a 3-1 win in Game 7.

And though P.K. Subban didn’t score a point in the deciding game, he’s still the post-season leader in points by a defenseman with 12 in 11 games. His 26:45 of ice time per night ranks fifth among defensemen who made it past Round 1 and has really emerged as a big-time clutch player this spring – he scored the OT winner in Game 1 of the Boston series.

And now that his Habs are an unlikely Eastern Conference finalist - where they’ll play another unlikely finalist from New York - Subban is a happy man.

So happy he kissed Pierre McGuire after a post-game interview.

Should the Habs advance past the Rangers, this may become a superstition.
