Jonathan Toews’ overtime winner Friday night was just the first road win for either team in the Blues-Blackhawks series and only the second among all four Western Conference series.

In Round 1, home teams are now 15-2. The lone road wins both came in extra time: Patrick Marleau’s overtime goal in Game 3 to give the Sharks a 4-3 win over the Kings in Los Angeles, and then Toews’ OT winner in Game 5 to lift the Blackhawks past the Blues 3-2 in St. Louis.

Over in the Eastern Conference, road teams have the edge so far, with a 9-7.
