Montreal and Boston had a classic tilt last night, filled with skill, snarl and hate (just the way it's supposed to be). Alexei Emelin made a statement for the Habs when he laid a fearsome hip check on Milan Lucic, no stranger to punishment himself.

Montreal ended the Bruins' 12-game winning streak when Alex Galchenyuk scored in the shootout for the 2-1 victory.
